The Cultural and Tourism Bureau of Chiayi County, to promote 5G and digital technology, has organized “Circuit Garden: Secret Garden in Tann-Niau” in collaboration with TNUA.

There were five performances from August 16 to 18. An exhibition of technology art will be running from August 20 to 26.

TNUA President Prof. Chen Kai-Huang and other TNUA administrators attended the opening ceremony on August 16, together with the directors of the event, Chia-Ming Wang and Huei-Ming Chang. Chiayi Performing Arts Center’s director Wang Po-Ching, Yung Ching Senior High School’s principal Kuo Chun-sung, and some 30 teachers and students from the school’s AI class were also there.

Prof. Chen noted after the opening performance that technology art is a form of beauty. He said he hopes “Circuit Garden: Secret Garden in Tann-Niau” can allow more people to experience different aspects of art.

“Circuit Garden” was originally the opening program of Taiwan’s first center dedicated to art and technology in 2023. It is a site-specific production integrating spatial forms of the building, creating a narrative experience that shifts within different scenes. “Circuit Garden” leads all living beings to shuttle in and out of the building, experience scenes of different dimensions, and use the hybrid application of technological instruments to launch a journey of purification through history, rituals, and future memories. It is a voyage crossing the boundaries of time and space.
Reservations – open to students and teachers from Chiayi’s high schools and colleges and to local art groups – are required for the exhibition. Please make reservations here: https://forms.gle/5gvmkFZGEYT37j3S9 or call 05-3628123#359
