TNUA’s Department of New Media Art presented “Epicentrum” at the 2023 Ars Electronica Festival, one of the most influential electronic art festivals in the world.
“Epicentrum” highlights the importance of “vibrations” that set the universe and the world in motion. It looks at how information, as a subject of art, represents the resonances between the identity, geological significance and digital environment. The exhibition showcases Taiwan’s special location amid a tense global situation and geologically at the intersection of tectonic plates.
