TNUA, Soochow University, and National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) organized a joint concert on March 22, presenting the music composed by their students.
The Intercollegiate Student Composers Concert 2025 demonstrated the young musicians’ boundless creativity and the diversity of contemporary music.
Each of the three universities selected their own musical pieces to be presented at the TNUA Concert Hall.
It was not only a showcase of the students’ creativity, but also a platform of exchange between different musical expressions and styles.
The works from the Soochow University students presented in the concert included a flute solo, a flute-clarinet duet, a sextet of two flutes, a violin, a viola, a cello and a piano, and a piece incorporating a French horn, a bass clarinet, a flute, and a piano.
The pieces from the NTNU students included unaccompanied viola solos, a dialogue between an alto saxophone and a soprano saxophone, and a cello solo.
The TNUA students’ experimental works include two string quartets and a dialogue between an alto saxophone and a tenor saxophone.
