TNUA has launched an animated short film introducing the university, depicting campus life in a surrealistic mountain setting.
The 1-minute-49-second film was created by Hu Hao, a graduate student at TNUA’s Department of Animation. Hu, who is keen on experimenting with different stylistic expressions, said the film shows how students enjoy artistic freedom in an inspirational hilly landscape from the moment they arrive at TNUA to the day they graduate.
The buffalos, the Taiwan blue magpies and the little egrets – which are represented as mythical beings in the film – are part and parcel of campus life at TNUA, Hu said. Seemingly under the “divine” protection of the popular Kuandu Temple in the area, TNUA students are free to seek their unique ways of artistic expressions.
