“Echoes from the North: Encounter with Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema”
Following the screening of short films from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, we will take a deeper look into how Montreal’s cultural diversity inspires the creativity of film studies students at Concordia University. We will also share the teachers and students’ filmmaking experiences and have a look at the workings of the school. The speakers will talk about the characteristics of the school’s curriculum and the students’ eagerness to experiment with new ideas.
