TNUA has unveiled its Animation and New Media Building, sharply expanding the space that the School of Film and New Media (FNM) needs for teaching purposes.
TNUA President Prof. Chen Kai-Huang and other administrators presided over a ceremony on September 5 to unveil the new building.
Addressing the ceremony, Prof. Chen thanked the Office of General Affairs for its efforts supporting the building project.
Prof. Jack Shih, Dean of the School of Film and New Media, thanked Prof. Chen’s full support for the project, ending the school’s wait of more than a decade for a teaching building of its own.
The School of Film and New Media was founded in 2009 with two departments: the Department of Filmmaking and th Department of New Media Arts, offering both graduate and undergraduate degree programs. It added the Department of Animation in 2024.
