A delegation from the Taipei Veterans General Hospital (TVGH), led by its Superintendent Chen Wei-Ming, visited TNUA on May 14.
TNUA and TVGH signed a letter of intent for cross-domain collaboration on April 2, and the May 14 visit was meant to be a preparation for implementing the cooperation.
The guests were shown around the Center for Art and Technology, and a discussion was also held between both sides about their cooperation.
TNUA President Prof. Chen Kai-Huang explained during the discussion ideas about one of the collaboration projects: refining the aesthetic appeal of TVGH’s premises.
Prof. Chen said TNUA is pleased to have the opportunity to take part in a project of one of the most important medical facilities in Taiwan.
Prof. Chen said the cross-domain project presents new challenges, and he expects to recruit assistance from the government, private and academic sectors to jointly achieve such a groundbreaking project.
Superintendent Chen noted that TVGH and TNUA have a common goal, which is to create quality living spaces. He expressed the hope that the overhaul project will let the people understand that TVGH is a medical institution with warmth and excellent services.
