Prof. Anthony Bowne, principal of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, received a warm welcome from TNUA President Prof. Chen Kai-Huang during his visit in October.

The purpose of Prof. Bowne’s latest visit was to sign an MoU with TNUA, and he also invited TNUA to CoLab, an annual Trinity Laban-organized spring.
Prof. Bowne noted that CoLab is an international festival featuring dances, music and musical theatre from different parts of the world. Guided by experts, over 900 Trinity Laban students from will come together with visiting artists from around the world to create, develop and rehearse projects during the two-week event.
Following the event, some of the performances will also be staged at other venues in the UK, such as the Royal Opera House, or outside of the country.
Extending a warm welcome to the guest of honor, Prof. Chen said the TNUA School of Dance will assess the possibility of introducing intensive short-term courses with the help of Laban, apart from exchange activities and collaboration in staging performances between both sides.
Trinity Laban is the UK’s only conservatoire of music and contemporary dance. It offers courses including master’s and doctoral programs. It has about 1,400 students.
