They visited the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK), University of Applied Arts Vienna, University of Arts Linz, University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) and Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
Prof. Chen noted that TNUA has strong ties with many Austrian universities. TNUA is stepping up post-pandemic efforts, paying them visits in order to tighten ties and explore the possibility of more collaboration.
The delegation also visited Ars Electronica 2023, where TNUA was represented as Featured University of the Festival, with the Department of New Media presenting an exhibition, “Epicentrum.” The TNUA delegation witnessed how the Department of New Media shone on the international stage.

The delegation also received a warm welcome by Prof. Gerald Bast, President of the University of Applied Arts Vienna (MAK).
During their visit to MDW, its rector, Prof. Ulrike Sych, who had visited TNUA in 2019, suggested that TNUA, MDW and University of Arts Linz could form trilateral collaboration partnerships. Prof. Chen also invited Prof. Sych to this year’s Kuan-Du Film Festival.
