TNUA and the National Museum of Prehistory (NMP) on December 1 signed a pact for exchange.

The two sides will work together to promote Austronesian and Taiwanese indigenous peoples’ cultures, including efforts for research, education, archiving, and exhibitions.

At the signing ceremony, TNUA President Prof. Chen Kai-Huang noted that TNUA’s Graduate Institute of Museum Studies has been producing many outstanding professionals who have been active in exchange activities in Taiwan and abroad.

NMP Director Tsai Chi-ren said that he is looking forward to collaborations with TNUA, and hopes to strengthen ties between the two sides through various projects.

NMP is in Taitung, the only national museum in eastern Taiwan.
