A delegation from Thailand’s Chulalongkorn University, led by Advisor to the President Prof. Santi Chantavilasvong, visited TNUA on May 9.

 

TNUA President Chen Kai-Huang extended a warm welcome to the guests of honor. The Viola Lovers from the Thai sister school also gave a concert at TNUA.

 
Prof. Santi Chantavilasvong, and other guests, including Kunchit Jitratan, Director of the Office of Art and Culture Director, and Hunsa Khamlion, Director of the Division of Museum and Art Galleries Director, were accompanied by Prof. Shien-Ta Su, Dean of the School of Music, as they visited some of TNUA’s facilities.
 
The guests also discussed the possibility of arranging exchange activities with the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts as they visited KdMoFA.

 

The Viola Lovers, consisting of 15 violists, one cellist, two percussionists and one pianist, gave a concert conducted by Nora-ath Chanklum.

 
A lot of exchange activities have been held since Chulalongkorn University, which was founded in 1917, first struck a partnership with TNUA’s School of Music in 2011. In November 2017, TNUA and Chulalongkorn University signed an MoU to expand their exchange.
 
In 2018, Duang-Kamol Chartprasert, then head of the Master of Arts in Cultural Management Program at Chulalongkorn University, visited TNUA.
