To mark the 40th anniversary of TNUA, the School of Music is arranging a series of 12 concerts with its faculty, students and alumni presenting works by contemporary composers. The series will feature piano performances, chamber music, orchestra, percussion, Beiguan and Nanguan music.

Dignitaries that attended the event included: TNUA President Prof. Chen Kai-Huang and Vice President Prof. Lee Chia-Yi; former TNUA President Prof. Ju Tzong-Ching; Prof. Shien-Ta Su, dean of the School of Music; Prof. Wu Shih-San, chairperson of the Department of Music; Prof. Jian Hsiu Jen, chairperson of the Department of Traditional Music; ISCM-Taiwan President Chia-Lin Pan; Prof. Hsiau Ching-Yu, executive director of the Asian Composer League-Taiwan; and many other professors from the Department of Music.

Prof. Su pointed out that the first concert on October 22 will present works created by the late Prof. Ma Shui-Long, as well as emeritus professors Hwang-Long Pan, Deh-Ho Lai, and Nan Chang-Chien, while they were teaching at TNUA.
