I. Teaching guidelines in response to the epidemic

1. Mainly physical classes; remote teaching when necessary.

2. The following guidelines must be followed in physical classes, otherwise remote teaching is required:

i .The number of teachers and students in the classroom must be within 80 people, or when there are more than 80 people in the room, each person must be able to keep a social distance of at least 1.5 meters (2.25 square meters/person). The room can accommodate people to its full seating capacity, and no checkerboard seating is required.
ii. Roll calls must be taken and all persons must register their presence. If fixed seating is not possible, the teacher will have to take pictures of the seating situation for record.
iii. All teachers and students must wear face masks throughout the class and sanitize their hands. No eating or drinking is allowed in class.
iv. The classroom must be well-ventilated and regularly disinfected. Classroom equipment must be sanitized thoroughly.

3. Anti-epidemic guidelines for performing art classes:
i. Except for students playing wind instruments, others must wear face masks throughout the class. Practice time should be adjusted to avoid long practice sessions that could result in discomfort for mask-wearing students. (Students with ardiovascular conditions or respiratory allergies are advised to avoid these classes).
ii. Face masks can be removed during wind instrument practices. When the practicing stops, the students must put the masks back on.
iii. The teachers, except when they need to do demonstrations (dancing, singing or playing wind instruments), must wear face masks throughout the class.
iv. Each person uses his or her own tools or instruments (musical instruments, costumes, etc). Wind instruments must not be shared. Microphones used in theatre sessions must not be shared.
4. The Office of Academic Affairs will follow the instructions announced by the Central Epidemic Command Center and the Ministry of Education, and will make rolling adjustments and announce them in the Epidemic Prevention Zone of the University.

II. Special program for international students
1. The Ministry of Education reopened the borders to international students at the end of August, but not all international students were able to come to class at the start of the new school year. TNUA has again activated the special program for international students for First Semester of Academic Year 2021.
2. After the add/drop period is over, remote learning is not required for courses where there are no international students or where all international students in a course can attend physical classes.
