Prof. Yang, extending a warm welcome to Prof. Nagasawa, noted that MAU is famous not only for fine arts, but also for visual design, scenography and others.
Prof. Yang said that Prof. Nagasawa showed him around the campus during his last visit to MAU, during which he was deeply impressed by the university's facilities and management.

Prof. Yang pointed out that MAU makes good use of the relationships with its alumni from design studies, building up good connections in sectors such as graphic design, theatre and broadcast TV. This enables high employment for its graduates, Prof. Yang said.

Prof. Nagasawa said he wanted to have a better understanding of TNUA during the visit, helping both universities further their collaboration. He said he was also much impressed by TNUA's facilities and management.

He said MAU is increasing not only its international exchange, but also domestic links with other arts universities in Japan in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
