TNUA President Prof. Yang Chyi Wen visited several arts schools and institutions during a one-week stay in Europe in mid-June.

Prof. Yang's itinerary included visits to Bath Spa University, the Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (CFCCA) in Manchester, the University of Salford, the London Contemporary Dance School (LCDS), the University of the Arts London (UAL), Universite Paris VIII, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.

At the very first stop, Prof. Yang and other TNUA delegates visited Bath Spa University, where he invited the school to send a delegation to TNUA's annual Kuandu Arts Festival in October, and the invitation was accepted.

Prof. Yang also invited Bath Spa University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Christina Slade to take part in the ALIA (Asian League of Institutes of the Arts) annual conference in Malaysia in December.

At Salford, Prof. Yang met with Prof. Alan Walker, dean of the College of Arts and Social Sciences.

In London, the TNUA delegation met with LCDS Principal Prof. Veronica Lewis. At UAL, they also received a warm welcome from its Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chris Wainwright.

They then left for France on June 18 to meet with Prof. Danielle Tartakowsky, president of Universite Paris VIII.

They then traveled to the Czech Republic, where they visited sister school, the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (AVU). Prof. Yang invited Prof. Tomas Vanek, rector of AVU, to come visit during the Kuandu Arts Festival.

Their last stop took them to Amsterdam in the Netherlands, where they met with Dr. Carla Delfos, executive director of the European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA).
