A nine-member delegation from Burapha University (BUU), led by its President Prof. Watcharin Gasaluck, visited TNUA on December 20.
TNUA and BUU signed a MOU for collaboration at a ceremony presided over by TNUA President Prof. Chen Kai-Huang and BUU President Prof. Watcharin Gasaluck.
The signing of the MOU was witnessed by officials from both universities. From TNUA, there were: Vice President Prof. Shaw-Ren Lin; and Prof. Ya-Ting Lin, Dean of the Office of International Affairs, among others. From BUU, there were: Dean of Faculty of Music and Performing Arts Prof. Ronnachai Rattanaseth; and Prof. Punwalai Kewara, Assistant to the President for International Relations, among others.
The visitors were also shown around the campus, meeting with administrators of the Department of Traditional Music, Department of Dance, Department of Film, and the Music and Image Trans-disciplinary Program.
The BUU delegation also conducted a Thai traditional dance workshop for students of the Department of Traditional Music and Department of Dance.
One of the visitors, Prof. Noppon Jamroenthong, had been to TNUA before, taking part in an Asian music and dance cultural program organized by the Department of Traditional Music in 2017.
