Harald Emgård is a registered speech-language pathologist. He started
out as an actor but took early on an interest in teaching. He has held
the position as Senior Lecturer in Voice and Speech, as well as
Principal of Malmö Theatre Academy at Lunds Universitet in Sweden.
Emgård has worked at a number of theatres and opera houses in Sweden as
well as for Swedish Radio and Television guiding actors, dancers,
musical artists and opera singers.
Emgård has also been a lecturer/coach at Taipei Performing Arts Center,
TNUA, National Opera of Vietnam and Hanoi Academy of Arts, and in
Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. He has been a vocal coach in many European
cities such as Copenhagen, London, Berlin, Florence, St. Petersburg and
New York.
