TNUA will start enrolling for two new graduate programs in December 2023 – the MFA Program at the Department of Animation, and the Executive Master of Arts Administration. Successful applicants will start their studies in School Year 2024.

TNUA approved the two new graduate programs in August 2023.

The Department of Animation introduced its undergraduate program in 2011. Since then, more than 300 students have graduated from the program, and many of them have won awards in major animation events at home and abroad, including the prestigious Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The department has become the number-one choice for animation art students in Taiwan, and a major source of talent for the local animation industry.

The new graduate program offers two tracks – computer animation and animation art – with core courses focusing on the aesthetic, theory and narrativity. The program is unique with participation in the Kuandu International Animation Festival (KDIAF) and international studies.

The Executive Master of Arts Administration (EMMA) offered by the Graduate Institute of Arts Administration and Management, School of Culture Resources aims to build up the competency of management professionals in the cultural and art industry. The Graduate Institute of Arts Administration and Management was set up in 2000.
