TNUA held its graduation ceremony on June 11 with almost 400 graduates attending.

The degree conferring was held at separate venues – the Concert Hall, the Experimental Theatre, the Dance Hall and the International Convention Hall.

TNUA President Prof. Chen Kai-huang noted at the ceremony that the COVID pandemic has impacted life much over the past few years, but he believes that the students will never forget how they managed to continue their learning under such circumstances.

Prof. Chen said the graduates must not worry or panic if they have a bumpy road lying ahead to a career of art. They must not forget that they possess the power of art. And if they do have success, they must not forget to help others, he said.

They must think how they can forge closer interaction between art and society, and how art can come closer the life of people, he said.

A song – with lyrics written by three third-year students and music composed by an MIT program student – was presented at the ceremony, as TNUA bid farewell to the graduates.
