TNUA held a series of activities on October 23 to mark its 39th anniversary, as well as the 30th anniversary of its relocation to the present campus in Kuandu, with faculty members, staff, students, retired teachers and alumni gathering together on this heartwarming occasion.

The first event was a flash mob asking participants to write their blessings. Alumini in who were in the last class to graduate from the Luzhou campus in the year just before TNUA moved to Kuandu were particularly invited to the anniversary celebrations. Many other alumni from the Luzhou years also returned.

When they saw the classmates and teachers they had not seen for years, they warmly hugged each other and chatted with each other. Among them, the retired teacher of the Department of Dance, 92-year-old Chou Yu, also graced the event with her presence, and was presented with a university anniversary ring by TNUA President Prof. Chen Kai-Huang.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the relocation to Kuandu, TNUA released a book written by former President Prof. Chiu Kun-liang about the history of the relocation – an important event that featured a parade and other artistic activities.

At the end of the book debut, Prof. Chen, Prof. Chiu and other faculty members, students, and VIPs came to the FuturePast Lab to take a look at an exhibition of pictures, videos and materials documenting the campus’ move from Luzhou and Kaundu.
